Selfie in the House

Me to brother: Magsmile ka nga!

Bakit, ganon ba talaga kahirap para sa mga lalaki na ngumiti sa picture?

First Friday!

Everything seemed so fine today except for my rain-soaked feet. Kadiri!!

Haha, I got a pretty good school day :>

  • First seat work on Calculus made me a little bit crazy. Huhu ang hirap po ng mahina sa math. Certified self-proclaimed bobo sa math ako! But, our sexy prof interrupted our seat work by having us answer her survey forms for graduate school, so the seat work became an assignment! God saved my poor math skills!!
  • I'm pretty getting along with my new blockmates. Yay, hindi na sila ng sila ang kausap ko. Naks!! :">
  • I ate lunch with moi friends!! And even encouraged somebody to cut her classes so she can be with us. Awwkay BI friends.
  • But, the reason why we encouraged her to cut has an ironic purpose. To help and serve in the campus ministry for the Freshmen Walk Mass!
  • We got free dinner!! And I ate three boxes of free food! 2 lechon kawali and 1 menudo, wee!!
  • What actually made me happy this day is that I got to serve for Him with my friends. Service with my friends is beyond literal fun.
  • First time makompleto ng group namin sa Pax and I'm the reason why we don't always get complete!! Then we ate another dinner with the AMV Pax. Wee buraot time!
  • And then it's Friday and I have no school activities for Sat except dorm chores :>
  • I want to sleep coz I'm sleepy na but sayang yung number of hours ng load ko sa wifi. Huhu, kuripot si girl eh.
  • Pero thank You talaga for this day <3

Pahiyas Festival '13

Pahiyas Festival is one of the most colorful and attractive festivals and tourist attractions in the country. It is held every May 15 in honor of San Isidro (patron saint of farmers) at Lucban, Quezon. But they already have the decorations in their houses earlier than May 15 (I really exerted effort in that description :p) And this summer -actually we already planned that we’ll attend the Pahiyas as early as February- we went to visit the famous festival.

It’s a hassle going there especially if you’re not used to commuting. Aside from the number of rides you have to take to reach the bayan, the fares are quite higher. You’ll quickly get tired because of taking rides, but that part is just one of the enjoyable.
When we arrived there, we look for places that will satisfy our hungry tummies. And our friend, Krystal, who happened to be studying there, brought us at Kikim where all the good shakes and affordable meals are located. I ordered pork sisig and cookies ‘n cream shake and paid only 62php!

The colorful decorations that looks like chandeliers are made of kiping. They are made from rice which makes them edible when fried or grilled, and food colors are added to it to make them look appealing. I bought a pack and it only costs 8php!!

Some houses used fruits, vegetables, rice grains, straws and other things and just used their creative minds to make brilliant decorations!

When we got a little bit tired, we bought drinks walked a little more then searched for a good place to sit in. Then, we walked a little more again, bought foods from 7-eleven and fate brought us to the church!  So I prayed then we went outside to get some fresh air and took more shots.

After that, we walked and walked and looked for Chitos to eat. And we ate. I ordered ham and cheese for 38php only and that comes with potato wedges and a drink. So affordable!

I’m addicted to colorful stuffs <3

So that was it! Lucky I was able to see and witness one of the tourist attractions in my hometown, the wonderful province of Quezon.

Lovely Bones

I would like to receive more of these this school year.
I am not a romantic person. In fact, there's a part of me that finds being one nasty. I am not a fan of love stories, but there are rare times I get hooked. I don't read and watch them because I think they're not realistic. Makes us inspired but hopeless. Anniversaries, rings, bouquets, dates, lust, sacrifices--all for love? Definitely not my type of things to prioritize. On the other side, I do love receiving gifts and surprises from random people I know. It makes me feel appreciated and loved. Therefore we conclude, I don't have lovely bones.
